That's the point.

I'm Bijan. I build websites, and that's the entire business — there's no second department to hand you off to.

When you email Fandey Tech, it lands in my inbox. When something breaks on a Sunday, I'm the one who fixes it. There's no account manager translating what you said into a ticket, no junior developer inheriting a project they weren't on the call for, and no client roster where you're the smallest name on it.

The tradeoff is real, and I'd rather say it out loud: I can't take twenty projects at once. I take a few at a time, so each one gets proper attention rather than whatever's left over.

    FEMA

    The federal government's emergency management training site. I worked on its migration to the U.S. Web Design System — the accessibility and consistency standard every federal site is held to. It has to work on old browsers, on screen readers, for millions of people. Government work is a good place to learn how to build to a standard.

  2. My own projectIn progress

    FlareNetwork

    A video platform with no ads and no algorithms. Users get 24 points, called "Ember," each day. They can give Ember to a piece of content that they enjoy, and content with the most Ember will appear as "Wildfire" on the front page of the website. After 24 hours that Ember burns out, turning into "Ash." Ash represents the total amount of Ember a piece of work has earned. The core mechanics are live and working, but it's still in development and I haven't opened it to an audience yet — expect a quiet room.

    Portfolio

    Before the government work: years of Shopify storefronts, WordPress plugins and checkout flows, built at a marketing agency. That's someone else's client list rather than mine, so it lives on my personal portfolio instead — along with the open-source tools and side projects I build on my own time.

Founding client terms

You'd be taking a chance on a new name. You should get something for it.

  • A fixed price, agreed before I write a line of code. If it takes me longer than I estimated, that's my problem, not your invoice.
  • Working pages in the first week. Not a mockup a month later — a real page, in a real browser, that you can click.
  • Founding rate, locked. The first five clients keep their launch pricing for as long as they stay with me.
